AGEA looks to bring quality assurance to Alberta geothermal industry
FEBRUARY 1 | 2010 | 12:15 PM
In the winter issue of the Alberta Geothermal Energy Association's newsletter, AGEO Chairman Don MacIntyre looks at the, "daunting challenge...to have our GSHP industry grow with enough regulatory framework in place, education in place, monitoring in place, and data collection in place, to shepherd its growth in a responsible and accountable manner; and in the best interests of our families, neighbours and friends who will be facing a very uncertain energy future."
At Vital Engineering we have been working with the AGEA, lending our experience to develop QA (quality assurance) programs. This month the AGEA is hosting a series of seminars and training workshops. Information on times, places and registration can be found here.
